Comments: Although not an LSD or hallucinogen-related title at all, I had to include this one as I like the front cover so much. The spoken word contents are actually pretty interesting, featuring reminiscences and religious testimony from Jack Brown, who started his career as a criminal and dope addict way back in the 1930s. Brown has a deep, gravelly voice, and like many white ex-cons (think Charles Manson) speaks with the intonation and accents of a black man. It would be cool to set him up with Curley McClure of the "Million Dollar Monkey On My Back" LP, and while waiting for that you can kick back and enjoy Jack Brown's fiery recollections of doing time with Machine Gun Kelly in Leavenworth, spending 3 years in isolation at San Quentin, and finally finding God in the mid-1960s. The gospel music isn't too shabby actually, but not something that adds to the album's appeal. This is a local release financed by a Christian business man in Cleveland, Tennessee.
